    Patrick Bringardner speaks Spanish fluently (se habla Español).

    Patrick was born in Baltimore, MD and raised in Gettysburg, PA.  He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Virginia Tech, after which he served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Peru.  Patrick then earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University in 2012, where he completed an internship in Santiago, Chile and the Island of Chiloé in the Chilean Patagonia.  He spent the next two years working as a Critical Care Nurse and HIV Case Manager in Houston, Texas.  Patrick earned his Family Nurse Practitioner Degree from Yale University in 2016, where he traveled to Botswana to complete his Master’s Thesis on Tuberculosis.  Patrick is Board Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).  His research has been published in various peer-reviewed journals.

    Patrick is passionate about community development, public health, and global health research.  He enjoys the outdoors, music and the arts, ice cream, gardening, and being on the water.

    Patrick relocated to Oregon from New England, joining the Medical Center in 2016.
