Dr Ravuri specializes in Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Being an FACP is a distinction earned from colleagues who recognize your accomplishments and achievements over and above the practice of medicine
Dr. Ravuri specializes in Internal Medicine. He has been practicing for 10 years and for the last seven years at NBMC. His interests include Cardiovascular, Diabetic, Gastrointestinal and Preventive Medicine. He is proficient in Endoscopies, Colonoscopies, Skin biopsies, Joint and Bursal injections. He also does CGMS testing (continuous glucose monitoring) and starts and manages Insulin Pumps.
Dr. Ravuri at the age of 17 attended one of the most prestigious medical schools in India, Andhra Medical College, started in 1857 by the British. He pursued further training in Internal Medicine at Rush-Westlake Hospital in Chicago. He chose NBMC over sub-specialization at the Mayo Clinic because the practices at NBMC epitomized how he wanted to practice as a physician.
Dr. Ravuri recently added Laurie Scheid, NP and Stephanie Hodges, ANP to his team to increase the same-day access to care for his patients, making his practice a true model for Integrated Medical Home.
He loves the Oregon coast and considers it his home. This commitment is shown in him taking on the added responsibilities of being the Medical Director at the Waterfall Clinic, being on the Board of Directors at NBMC and on the Board of Directors for DOCS.
His practice motto is “Partnering with my patients in their pursuit of Health, Wellness and Happiness.”
